Job Title: SIDI Specialist

Integrated Security Technologies is seeking a highly skilled SIDI Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Security Technical Services team, you will be responsible for advanced troubleshooting, programming, scripting, and service analysis of systems and infrastructure utilized by the Avangrid Physical Security program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Export and import data from/to various formats like delimited raw/text file, MS-Excel, XML, SQL Server, MS-Access, etc.
  • Transfer data between various servers and/or data sources.
  • Restore databases and individual tables upon request.
  • Perform project and task assignments provided by team leads and/or team management.
  • Apply all technical training received on specific systems to live environments managed by the team.
  • Maintain systems as directed by team leads and/or team management.
  • Work closely with system manufacturer professional services and technical resources as required to ensure overall ecosystem health and program success.
  • Generate various reports as requested by team leads and/or team management.
  • Cooperate and work in tandem with other team members in a highly sensitive, critical infrastructure environment to facilitate completion of project schedules and tasks.
  • Make all adjustments or changes to systems as directed by the team leads and/or team management.
  • Ensure all activities meet or exceed corporate commitments as they are assigned to role and team.
  • Develop and maintain a “One Team Approach” within a multiple integrator team that is centrally managed and operates within a highly sensitive critical infrastructure environment.
  • Follow all Security Technical Services team policies and procedures.
  • Engage in a planned program of professional development, coordinated goals and responsibilities, and maintain continued growth in professional skills and knowledge essential to the position.
  • Keep current with the latest technologies, support processes, and risk mitigation measures.
Requirements and Experience:
  • Network, operating system, and database knowledge.
  • Experience with backups, restores and recovery models.
  • Experience working with Windows Server, including Active Directory.
  • Experience working with Linux, Red Hat, and Ubuntu.
  • Experience working with Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Experience writing SQL queries, analyzing query performance using query plans and tuning query performance.
  • Experience with C#, C++, Visual Basic or Visual Studio.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BA/BS in computer science or combination of equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in similarly held position such as technical support tier 3 & above or advanced level IT support.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to work well and interact with other team members.
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision; must be a self-starter and quick learner.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Experience in Symmetry Access Control, FLIR, AXIS, Milestone, Agent VI, Commend, and Guardian Shooter Detection a plus but not required.
  • Professional Certifications a plus.
