We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Private Duty Nurse. As an Aveanna Healthcare nurse, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of medically fragile children and adults in their own homes.
Job Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with physician orders and developed care plans.
- Assess patient needs and report changes in condition to supervisors and physicians as necessary.
- Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care in a timely manner.
- Develop, implement, and update individualized nursing care plans to achieve expected outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and services provided.
- A valid state license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Current CPR certification from a reputable organization such as the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
- Prior experience working in home health or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel to patient locations.
- A competitive salary range of $35.00 - $45.00 per hour, depending on experience and location.
