Job Overview

The Production Operations Coordinator will provide essential support for the management of administrative programs within the production control framework. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring efficient workflow and resource allocation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in production control operations.
  • Possess a solid foundation in maintenance, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Engage with clients and handle phone inquiries effectively.
  • Process and categorize all incoming job requests.
  • Analyze information to prioritize tasks based on scheduled work orders.
  • Organize work orders to optimize labor efficiency.
  • Prepare purchase orders for necessary materials and supplies, utilizing statistical data for production planning.
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets to monitor work orders and generate reports for clients and senior management.
  • Confirm receipt of materials against order specifications.
  • Adjust job schedules in response to material shortages, labor availability, or unforeseen circumstances.
  • Provide on-site support during standard operational hours, with potential for overtime as needed.
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or a minimum of 5 years of experience in production control.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and MAXIMO.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to the USMCmax program and I&E public processes.
  • Compensation: $29.32 per hour.
