Expert Staffing West is seeking a skilled printing production assistant to support our large format printing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving and managing work orders for printing tasks.
- Reviewing work orders to assess estimated printing durations, ink types, and material requirements.
- Creating screen designs based on client specifications.
- Choosing appropriate screen dimensions, cleaning agents, and emulsion layers.
- Loading screens into the printing machinery.
- Setting up and adjusting printing plates and pressure rollers.
- Calibrating the printer prior to production runs.
- Executing print jobs and conducting quality assurance checks during the process.
- Addressing any issues that may arise during printing.
- Drying, folding, and packaging finished products post-production.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in screen printing or a related field.
- Strong hand-eye coordination.
- High degree of creativity and artistic ability.
- Capability to stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable working with inks and chemicals regularly.
- Proficient in operating large printing machinery.
