Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy
- Accept and implement feedback from the BCBA to maintain program fidelity
- Teach socially appropriate replacement behaviors
- Communicate client progress to the supervising BCBA
- Provide transportation for activities as outlined in the treatment plan, when necessary
- Collect behavioral data as specified in the client’s behavior support plan
- Execute behavior therapy techniques as directed by the Behavioral Services Manager and Behavior Specialist
- Collaborate with the Behavioral Services Manager and Behavior Specialist to review data and strategize program enhancements
- Document interventions and progress towards goals accurately and promptly
- Assist in developing instructional materials
- Maintain flexibility and responsibility while working with multiple children when required
- Participate in various in-service training sessions and related meetings
- Exhibit a strong desire to work with children with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Maintain a clear criminal background.


Qualifications:

- Experience with aggressive and self-injurious behaviors is essential
- Must be a Certified Behavior Technician or registered to take the RBT exam
- U.S. citizenship, legal/permanent residency, or valid employment authorization is required
- Certification in OSHA, HIV, HIPAA, CPR, and First Aid is necessary, or willingness to obtain these certifications
- High school diploma is required
- One year of experience working with children with developmental/intellectual disabilities is preferred
- Team-oriented mindset is crucial
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain prior to hiring)
- Minimum of one year of experience with children with Autism or related disorders is preferred
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Current TB clearance is required
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and attention to detail are essential
- A strong desire to work with children with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Clear criminal background.
