Overview

Novant Health is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Level III to provide professional, competent anesthesia care to a wide variety of patients. The successful candidate will work primarily in a Tertiary Medical Center with Multispecialty Trauma Services and multiple NORA sites, providing needed coverage to ASCs, HOPDs, and Community Medical Centers as directed by NH Anesthesia Leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Provide anesthesia care to patients from pediatric to geriatric populations, requiring surgical, obstetrical, and other anesthesia services.
  • Utilize skills obtained through additional training, education, and/or experience in the provision of anesthesia care to patients with complex and unique anesthetic requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in call coverage and make up designated specialty teams such as Cardiac, Neuro, and Neonatal teams.
  • Contribute to department committees and projects to drive quality improvement and patient satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required, with a BSN preferred.
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing and school of nurse anesthesia.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice required.
  • CRNA certification by NBCRNA required.
  • Previous experience is not necessary, but a four to six week orientation period is required.
