Physical Therapist Assistant Position Summary

Under the direction of the Staff Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapist Assistant is responsible for providing physical therapy treatment programs as planned by the Physical Therapist.

Physical Therapist Assistant Requirements

To be eligible for this position, you must have:

  • High school or four-year technical school plus up to two years of training in a specialty
  • State licensure in MD or DE, depending on the facility
  • BLS CPR certification through the American Heart Association

Previous experience is preferred, but not required.
