EVONA is partnering with a leading company in cutting-edge space technology to fill a key role in their thermal engineering team. As a Senior Thermal Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing thermal systems for spacecraft components, from concept to delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement thermal architectures for spacecraft components, including design, analysis, and testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate thermal systems with other spacecraft subsystems
- Conduct trade space analysis and create models to optimize thermal performance
- Validate thermal models through testing in a simulated lunar environment
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience designing thermal control systems for space applications
- Proficiency in engineering simulation software and CAD tools
- Strong understanding of heat transfer principles and thermal analysis
Preferred Qualifications:
- Post-graduate degree in a technical field
- 10+ years of experience in design of thermal control systems for space applications
- Experience with industry-standard thermal analysis software
