About the Private Capital Team

The Private Capital team is dedicated to offering innovative financial solutions to middle-market enterprises through directly sourced investments that yield attractive risk-adjusted returns. The team has successfully deployed significant capital across numerous transactions, maintaining a robust track record on behalf of a diverse array of global clients.

Position Overview

We are looking for an Associate-level investment professional responsible for identifying and evaluating new investment opportunities, overseeing existing positions, and preparing comprehensive fund performance reports. This role will report to the Private Capital leadership and collaborate with other professionals within the organization. Candidates should possess a background in credit investing, along with the analytical and modeling skills necessary to assess and monitor investments. Key to success in this role will be sound investment judgment, the ability to collaborate effectively with investment partners, a proactive approach, resourcefulness, and a strong intellectual curiosity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough research on industries and companies, creating detailed financial models to highlight key metrics for investment decision-making.
  • Deliver high-quality analysis of company and due diligence information to support investment conclusions.
  • Develop precise and adaptable financial models and scenario analyses.
  • Prepare clear, accurate, and comprehensive investment memoranda.
  • Continuously monitor existing portfolio investments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, direct lending, or private debt investing.
  • Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills (both oral and written).
  • Comfortable engaging in due diligence discussions with senior management and other investment professionals.
  • Self-motivated individual with a penchant for problem-solving.
  • Able to thrive in a collaborative team environment and demonstrate a quick learning ability.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive and includes eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus, along with a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement plans.
