Job Summary
We are seeking a Staff Development Manager to lead effective strategies for training, development, and retention of staff for our Dining Services Department. This position holds an essential role that works with current and future staff to mentor and monitor professional skills and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and facilitate dining new hires employee orientation.
- Develop, coordinate, and present dining skills training for service and sanitation.
- Collaborate with community recruiter to source qualified applicants.
- Oversee and ensure efficient hiring and onboarding process of all dining staff in conjunction with the HR department.
What We Offer
- Competitive compensation package, commensurate with experience, starting at $68,000 annually.
- Quality of life, with most restaurant employees finishing their shifts before 9 pm.
- Eligibility for full medical benefits on the first of the month following the start date for employees working 30+ hours per week.

- 401(k) plan for all employees 18 and over, with company contribution up to 3% once eligible.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proven experience managing and motivating in a customer service environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Related experience in food service, an educational food service management program, or experience in recruitment, staff development, and training with an ability to learn food service.
