About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Superintendent to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of electrical construction projects, from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage all aspects of electrical construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and safety.
  • Team Leadership: Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure that project goals are met.
  • Schedule Development: Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that all work is completed on time and within budget.
  • Site Visits: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure that all work is being performed to the highest quality standards.
  • Vendor Management: Oversee the work of subcontractors and other vendors, ensuring that they are meeting project requirements and deadlines.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Progress Reporting: Provide regular progress reports to project managers and other stakeholders, highlighting any issues or concerns that may impact project timelines or budgets.
  • Financial Management: Manage project budgets, ensuring that all costs are accounted for and that projects are completed within budget.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical construction, with a focus on commercial and industrial projects.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams of subcontractors and other vendors.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field preferred, but not required.
