This role involves a comprehensive approach to patient care, focusing on the design, creation, fitting, and upkeep of prosthetic devices tailored to individual patient requirements as determined by healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will possess American Board Certified (ABC) credentials in Prosthetics/Orthotics. Our esteemed therapy team is committed to enhancing patient functionality and overall health through exceptional service. This position offers a supportive environment conducive to professional growth within our Prosthetics and Orthotics division.

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Compensation:
Starting salary from $80,000, commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities:
The Licensed Prosthetics and Orthotics Specialist will:
- Oversee all phases of design, fabrication, fitting, and maintenance of orthotic and prosthetic devices based on patient needs as outlined by physicians.
- Assist medical professionals in evaluating and analyzing patient requirements for orthotic and prosthetic services.
- Ensure patient management aligns with established protocols for orthotic and prosthetic care.
- Identify and resolve issues to guarantee patient satisfaction with provided devices.
- Maintain the highest standards of patient care, including follow-up with patients and healthcare providers.
- Research new techniques and materials to broaden the range of services offered.
- Keep precise documentation to outline goals, challenges, and solutions for each patient.
- Provide administrative support for reimbursement activities and inventory management.
- Engage with physicians, case managers, and referral sources to promote orthotic and prosthetic services.
- Offer on-call services as needed and recommend treatment options to physicians when appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution recognized in Orthotics and Prosthetics.
- American Board Certified (ABC) certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics is mandatory.
- Completion of a Prosthetics/Orthotics Residency program.
