We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented E-commerce Clerk to join our team at Kroger. As an E-commerce Clerk, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our customers receive their online orders in a timely and accurate manner.
Key Responsibilities- Select and Gather Products: Carefully select and gather products for customers' online orders, ensuring that they are fresh and of high quality.
- Assemble and Process Orders: Assemble customers' online orders, process coupons and payment, and deliver and load orders to cars when customers arrive at the store for pick-up.
- Provide Excellent Customer Service: Provide a positive customer service experience that makes customers want to return again to online shopping.
- Meet Customer Expectations: Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
- Adhere to Company Guidelines: Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate with customers via a portable phone and respond to calls in a professional and timely manner.
- Retrieve and Load Orders: Retrieve each customer's order from all staging locations and ensure order accuracy; load order into customers' cars.
- Process Orders through POS System: Process the orders through the point of sale (POS) system.
- Resolve Substitutions and Exceptions: Communicate any substitutions or exceptions to customer's order at time of pick-up.
- Maintain Organization and Cleanliness: Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
- Report Discrepancies: Report pricing, scanning, and item location discrepancies and invalid temperature types to the store e-Commerce supervisor.
- Inspect Equipment: Inspect equipment and notify store e-Commerce supervisor or other store management of items in need of repair.
- Perform Opening and Closing Procedures: Perform required opening and closing procedures.
- Learn and Adapt: Learn and adapt to new and improved processes.
- Train New Team Members: Assist in training new e-Commerce team members.
- Meet Productivity Standards: Meet/exceed productivity standards.
- Basic Math Skills: Basic math skills (counting, addition, and subtraction).
- Reading and Communication Skills: Ability to read shelf tags and excellent oral/written communication skills.
- Work Supervision: Ability to work without supervision.
