Key Responsibilities:
- Imaging Procedures:
- Conduct ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and other anatomical areas as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, addressing any questions or concerns to ensure their comfort and cooperation.
- Position patients appropriately to obtain optimal images and results.
- Adjust ultrasound equipment settings to ensure high-quality images.
- Patient Care:
- Provide empathetic care to patients throughout the imaging process.
- Monitor patient conditions during procedures and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare provider.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all relevant privacy regulations and protocols.
- Professional Development:
- Stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques through continuing education and professional development.
- Participate in professional organizations and attend relevant workshops and conferences.
- Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in ultrasound technology.
- BLS certification.
- ARDMS - echo certification.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What We Offer:
- Competitive pay rate of $73/hr.
- Guaranteed hours of 40 per week.
- 13-week contract with the possibility of extension.
