Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Actalent. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and positioning patients for diagnostic imaging procedures, explaining procedures and processes to patients, and performing specialized and routine diagnostic radiology procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures
- Explain procedures and processes to patients
- Perform specialized and routine diagnostic radiology procedures
- Maintain a safe, healthy, and professional work environment
- Review images for proper identification and quality control
- Maintain required documentation pertaining to x-ray imaging
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite platforms
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification
- Diagnostic Radiography License
Soft Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Thick skin for a rough environment
- Open to helping in the front office
Work Environment:
This is a fully on-site position in a dynamic and fast-paced urgent care setting. You will be working 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, with every other weekend. You will be required to lift a minimum of 25 lbs., push and pull a minimum of 50 lbs., and stand a minimum of 6 hours a day.
