Job Opportunity

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel assignment in California.

Job Summary:

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to provide quality imaging services. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Radiologist in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, as well as processing and transmitting images to PACS.

Requirements:

  • Current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by CDPH, A.R.R.T. or N.M.T.C.B.
  • Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology required.
  • One year of acute, clinical radiology experience.
  • At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist.
  • Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment.
  • Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.
  • Graduate of a program accredited by JRCNMT or CAMRT.
  • Current BCLS (AHA) required.
  • Proficient computer skills.

Work Schedule:

This is a 5-day, 8-hour shift position, with a start time of 08:00 and end time of 16:30.

Pay Package:

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
