Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description

NurseStaffing is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in administering radiopharmaceuticals and radiation to detect and treat diseases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals and radiation to patients for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
  • Operate radioisotope equipment to prepare and administer radioactive materials.
  • Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation.
  • Coordinate patient flow and maintain procedure quality control.
  • Document all pertinent information regarding radioactive materials and surveys.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or certificate from an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine or Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • Licensed technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
  • Vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state, and/or federal law or regulations.
  • Vaccinated for Influenza, seasonal.
