Position Overview for Psychologist II

This position entails delivering psychological evaluations and therapeutic interventions for patients within a specialized geriatric facility. The role necessitates collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to formulate support strategies for patients and to track their advancement towards established objectives.

  • Essential Qualifications:
    • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology
    • Active Clinical Psychology license in Virginia
    • Experience working with adults facing mental health challenges
    • Familiarity with diverse therapeutic approaches
    • Proficiency in assessment methodologies
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Licensed psychologist in Virginia is preferred
    • Experience with geriatric, mentally ill, or forensic populations is preferred
    • Demonstrated experience in behavioral treatment is preferred
    • Training in geriatric-specific assessment tools is preferred
