About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at the Marc Jacobs Riverside location in Hackensack, New Jersey. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in driving sales and providing exceptional client experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Consistently achieve or exceed individual and store sales and other commercial KPIs
  • Ensure the store is always guest-ready, providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for clients
  • Build sales by establishing yourself as an expert in styling, seasonal trends, and product knowledge
  • Cultivate client relationships and capture client data to drive repeat business
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and open communication with colleagues and management
  • Maintain a curious and learning attitude, seeking feedback from colleagues and management to continuously improve
  • Ensure the sales floor and stockroom are well-organized and adhere to company policies and procedures
Qualifications
  • 1+ years' experience in retail, sales, or industry-adjacent role with a focus on customer service
  • Experience in generating sales, building, and developing client relations
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
  • Delivers Excellence - demonstrates passion and empathy for clients, anticipates and exceeds client expectations

  • Computer skills including operating a POS and navigating Microsoft Office suite
  • Must have flexibility to work a retail schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate's relevant skills and experience.
