Cardiology Registered Nurse Job Description

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiology team in Brookline, Massachusetts.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Cardiology department. The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation)
  • Oversee other assigned team members and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide population-specific care
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of patients
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient care and treatment
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements
  • Current MA RN license required
  • Minimum of 1-2 years nursing experience
  • Strong interpersonal communication, problem-solving, and conflict management skills
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
  • Bachelor degree in nursing, preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years Critical Care experience required
  • Procedural experience preferred (Cath Lab, IR, OR)
  • Modular sedation experience preferred
  • CPR Training required within first 3 months of employment
  • BLS/ACLS certification required
  • PALS within 6 months
