Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to lead and support our manufacturing operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for introducing new products, improving productivity and profitability, and providing ongoing support through the manufacturing life cycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the introduction of new products into the facility, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruptions to production.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and profitability, leveraging lean manufacturing techniques and best practices.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to manufacturing teams, diagnosing problems and implementing solutions to minimize interruptions to production.
  • Lead special projects, such as the implementation of new processes, equipment, and technologies, to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic manufacturing plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Requirements
  • 4-year technical degree or equivalent education.
  • Strong analysis skills, including process, capacity, cost/benefit, waste stream, and quality tools.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques, including flow, PQ, equipment reliability, and set up reduction.
  • Facilitation and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Computer skills, including advanced level proficiency in Excel and Access.
  • Experience in design, specification, purchase, and installation of new equipment, as well as the engineering design process.
  • Knowledge of simulation, process modeling, and value stream mapping.
  • Project management and leadership ability, with a proven track record of delivering results.
