Position Summary
The Culinary Service Associate plays a vital role in ensuring food safety and quality. Responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and documenting food temperatures
- Setting up and maintaining a clean serving area
- Preparing and serving food items
- Restocking food supplies
- Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment
- Processing payments using a computerized register
Adhering to Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines is essential. Providing excellent customer service and effective communication with patrons and team members is a key aspect of this role.
Qualifications
Applicants must be at least 16 years old. Previous experience in customer service or food service is preferred. Candidates should possess the ability to read, write, and follow instructions, as well as perform basic math. On-the-job training will be provided.
Depending on the hiring location, Serv Safe certification may be required within a specified timeframe. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may also be necessary based on location requirements.
