Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Bank Teller to join our team at Citizens. As a Bank Teller, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and promoting our financial products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized service to customers, answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Process transactions, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and transfers, while maintaining accurate records and adhering to bank policies and procedures.
  • Recommend and promote our financial products and services to customers, identifying opportunities to meet their financial needs and goals.
  • Work collaboratively with branch team members to achieve sales and service goals, while maintaining a positive and supportive team environment.
  • Stay up-to-date on bank products and services, as well as relevant industry trends and developments.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a financial services setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse customer groups.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy in handling cash and financial transactions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a banking or financial services environment.
  • Knowledge of bank products and services, including deposit accounts, loans, and investments.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
