Job Description

At Codebase Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As an ETL Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing data architectures that drive business insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop logical and physical data models using best practices to ensure high data quality and reduced redundancy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to derive requirements and architect shared datasets.
  • Develop and implement ETL/ELT data movement jobs based on business requirements.
  • Implement, maintain, and extend best practices in line with market standards and guidelines.
  • Develop DDL/DML scripts and exhibit excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Work with RDBMS (Postgres) and NoSQL technologies, and have experience with real-time data streaming using Kafka.
  • Perform root cause analysis on external and internal processes and data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Document the Data Model and dependencies in Confluence and prepare a Data Dictionary.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in RDBMS (Postgres) and NoSQL technologies.
  • Experience with real-time data streaming using Kafka.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of AWS Technologies.
  • Good understanding of Finance industry.
