Senior Biotech Sales Executive

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Biotech Sales Executive to join our team at Alnylam. As a Commercial Representative for Rare Diseases, you will be responsible for driving physician and patient identification, disease awareness, overall market development, and brand awareness within your assigned territory.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biotech or pharmaceutical sales, with experience in gastroenterology, hematology/oncology, or other relevant areas. They will be able to build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, office staff, and patients, while effectively prioritizing and managing time, activities, and resources.
Responsibilities
- Drive patient identification through appropriate HCP-driven strategies, including market development and increasing brand awareness.
- Effectively prioritize and manage time, activities, and resources to optimize access to academic and community HCPs.
- Build and maintain relationships with HCPs and office staff by maximizing their time through planning, leveraging insights, and conducting post-call analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 5+ years of demonstrated success in biotech, specialty pharmaceuticals, or medical devices.
- Experience in gastroenterology, hematology/oncology, or other relevant areas preferred but not required.
Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
