POSITION SUMMARY

As a Lead Civil Engineering Project Manager at Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in our Land Development sector, overseeing projects that span various sectors including commercial, residential, and institutional developments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. **Project Development**: Create comprehensive site and civil engineering plans and specifications for diverse projects, including large-scale mixed-use developments and institutional facilities.
2. **Documentation and Permitting**: Support the preparation of land development design and permitting documents, ensuring compliance with local and state regulations.
3. **Client Engagement**: Maintain strong client relations by attending meetings with stakeholders to understand their needs and address design and permitting challenges.
4. **Team Leadership**: Supervise and mentor junior staff, managing significant tasks across various project sizes.
5. **Financial Oversight**: Assist in monitoring project financial performance and contribute to the development of new project opportunities.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required; a Master's degree is a plus.
- 8-11 years of relevant professional experience in site/civil design engineering is essential.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory; experience with Civil 3D and MicroStation is preferred.
- A valid PE license is required.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with a keen attention to detail.
