PET/CT Technologist Job Description

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a skilled PET/CT Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for operating PET/CT scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Screen patients before exams to ensure safety and accuracy
  • Prepare patients for PET/CT imaging procedures, explaining the process and positioning them correctly
  • Perform routine and advanced PET/CT imaging procedures with minimal supervision
  • Adjust scan parameters and utilize dose reduction techniques as needed
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with radiologists, customers, and colleagues
  • Follow safety regulations and maintain accurate patient records
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly quality control procedures on PET/CT equipment
  • Assist with training new associates and maintaining departmental surveys
Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of PET/CT imaging procedures and safety protocols
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and follow safety regulations
