Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Specialist to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the organization's grounds and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the organization's grounds, including lawn care, landscaping, and snow removal.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities.
  • Assist with parking lot repairs and maintenance.
  • Assist with assessments and inspections of the grounds.
  • May assist with minor electrical work and general maintenance tasks.
Requirements
  • Trade school or vocational school with courses in landscaping, horticulture, forestry, or park management.
  • Six months experience working with lawn care equipment.
  • May require applicable State Commercial Applicators License and/or Certification.
  • Depending on location, may require a current valid driver's license and meet all medical guidelines for Sanford Health Category III drivers.
