Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute retail operations plans to achieve daily, monthly, and yearly goals for operating income, revenue, and production.
  • Monitor product levels and ensure payroll costs and operating costs are managed to budget.
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the sales floor, ensuring that Team Members deliver excellent customer service to donors and customers.
  • Partner with community businesses and organizations to promote Goodwill's mission and values.
  • Act as a Goodwill ambassador to the community, representing the organization's brand and values.
  • Ensure that Team Members are well-trained and fulfill their duties and responsibilities.
  • Process complex sales transactions, including customer returns.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Build a high-performing team and drive performance management, staffing, compensation, and development of Team Members.
  • Model Goodwill's Core Values – Trust, Collaboration, Engagement, Ownership, and Innovation.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • One-year work experience in Retail Management required.
  • One-year customer service experience required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.
  • Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
