The successful candidate will possess a solid background in ISO 9001 standards, demonstrate expertise in utilizing precision measurement instruments, and have a firm grasp of documentation protocols. Experience with military contracts and specifications is highly advantageous.
Salary and Work Schedule:
Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year
Shift: First
Work Hours: 7 AM - 5 PM
Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute inspections and measurements of mechanical components and assemblies utilizing calipers, micrometers, height gauges, depth gauges, and other precision measurement tools.
- Conduct both in-process and final inspections of products to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Ensure all inspection activities conform to ISO 9001 quality management systems.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive inspection records, including measurement outcomes, non-conformance reports, and corrective action requests.
- Verify that all inspections and documentation fulfill the requirements of military contracts and specifications.
- Identify potential areas for process enhancements in quality inspection methodologies.
- Engage in root cause analysis and corrective action planning to resolve quality-related issues.
