Job Title: Truck Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team at Allied / All-City Inc. as a Fleet Maintenance Specialist.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a fleet of trucks and excavating equipment, troubleshooting engine issues, and performing routine maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in our modern fully equipped repair shop.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and diesel engine issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on hydraulic systems.
  • Prepare older vehicles for resale.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
Requirements:
  • CDL class-A Drivers license and New York State inspector license preferred but not required.
  • Proven experience with various truck and equipment models and brands.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
