Aveanna Private Duty Nurses play a vital role in providing one-on-one care to our patients, helping them transition home from the hospital and thrive in their own environment. As a Private Duty Nurse with Aveanna, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implementing physicians' prescribed plans of care
  • Conducting patient assessments and coordinating care
  • Administering prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Documenting care provided in our system of record
  • Providing health education and training to family members
  • Communicating with physicians, clients, and staff regarding patient concerns and changes in condition
Qualifications:
  • Active, unencumbered license (RN/LPN/LVN) in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS
  • TB skin test (current within the last 12 months)
  • At least six months of prior hands-on nursing experience (preferred but not required)
  • Reliable transportation
