Job Summary

We are looking for a customer-service focused individual with a strong safety driving record to transport and deliver hazardous and non-hazardous materials in a safe and compliant manner. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, shipment, and production process of materials in our Distribution Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport and deliver materials according to established company and regulatory policies and procedures.
  • Comply with all applicable Federal, State, local and Company rules and regulations.
  • Accurately receive, store, ship, and produce materials in the Distribution Center.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 25 years old.
  • HS Diploma or GED required.
  • Current Class A CDL drivers license with general knowledge, air brakes, and combination vehicle endorsements.
  • A minimum of 3 years related experience with operating tractor/trailer equipment.
  • Experience delivering hazardous materials is preferred.
  • A minimum of 1-year related experience using 3-wheeled, 4-wheeled, or stand-up forklifts.
  • General knowledge and understanding of OSHA requirements, safety awareness, and hazardous material shipping is required.
  • Ability to pass all of the DOT driver qualification standards.
  • No serious traffic violations in the last 3 years.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to independently lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire length of shift.
  • Ability to reach, grasp, push and pull with hands and arms.
  • Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
