MedStar Health is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in the Baltimore-Washington metro region. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing a full range of nuclear scans under the guidance of the Section Chief of Nuclear Medicine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare radioactive isotopes for administration to patients.
- Operate gamma camera and related computers.
- Keep records of test conducted, test results, use, and disposition of isotopes.
- Attend all required safety training programs and follow hospital exposure control plans.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Completion of an approved Nuclear Medicine Program.
- NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) or ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technology) certification.
- Maryland State License.
Salary Range: $34.98 - $59.26 per hour.
