Job Title: Travel Nurse ICU Specialist

Tact Staff is seeking a highly skilled Travel Nurse ICU Specialist to join our team for a travel nursing assignment in a reputable healthcare institution.

Job Summary:

The Travel Nurse ICU Specialist will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Intensive Care Unit, working closely with the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care
  • Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs
  • Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and coordination
  • Initiate assessment based on patient problems or needs, physician medical diagnosis, and functional health framework
  • Perform therapeutic nursing interventions
  • Manage care of patients based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities
  • Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery
  • Provide patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of strong experience in critical care and a background in med/surg
  • ICU CCU HIGH ACUITY - High acuity, ratio 1:1 to max 1:3
  • Covid Care Required
  • Float to other ICU's
Preferred Skills & Experience:
  • N/A ACLS - AHA
  • BLS - AHA
  • NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license
  • Tele cert or competency exam ICU CCU HIGH ACUITY
  • High acuity, ratio 1:1 to max 1:3
  • Covid Care Required
