Job Summary:

Creative Financial Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Controller to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounting operations of our company, including financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage the accounts payable and receivable functions, including monitoring cash flow and managing vendor relationships.
  • Payroll Management: Supervise the payroll process and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Tax Compliance: Manage tax compliance, including sales tax, property tax, and payroll tax.
  • Accounting Policies and Procedures: Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal controls.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Participate in the development of annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of 30+ with 4 manager direct reports.
  • Audit Management: Lead the annual audit process and manage auditor relationships.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • CPA certification.
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal controls.
  • Experience managing accounting operations in a multi-entity environment.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
