Job Summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Everett, Massachusetts. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing evaluation and treatment services for patients referred with speech, language, and/or swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' communication and swallowing functions using clinical evaluations, videofluoroscopic oropharyngeal swallowing evaluations, and fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallow (FEES).
  • Develop and implement treatment plans with treatment goals directed towards maximizing function.
  • Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordination and effectiveness of therapies provided.
  • Manage patient caseloads and prioritize tasks to ensure timely and effective care.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and program development.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university program.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  • Possess or be eligible for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology from the state of Massachusetts.
  • Demonstrate expertise in the diagnosis and remediation of oropharyngeal dysphagia and neurogenic communication disorders.
  • Experience with video fluoroscopic oropharyngeal swallowing and FEES evaluations.
