Position Overview

Sierra HR Partners is in search of a seasoned Human Resources Director to lead our human resources initiatives. This role is ideal for a professional with a robust background in human resources management who is eager to contribute to a vibrant team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement strategic policies to uphold effective human resources practices.
  • Establish safety protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Oversee comprehensive HR functions such as employee relations, talent acquisition, onboarding, training, and employee engagement.
  • Manage employee benefits programs, including paid time off and leave management.
  • Utilize systematic approaches for data collection, reporting, and adherence to legal requirements.
  • Provide guidance to management and staff on policies, performance management, and HR-related matters.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in Human Resources Management or as a Generalist is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP are advantageous.
  • Proven experience in supervising and directing administrative teams.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations, including OSHA and CalOSHA.
  • Strong understanding of human resources laws and best practices.
  • Ability to conduct training sessions and compliance workshops.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and various HR software systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
