About the Role

TAL Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician Assistant Supervisor to lead its Otolaryngology Department. The ideal candidate will oversee and manage the surgical care provided by Physician Assistants (PAs) within the department, ensuring high standards of patient care and operational efficiency.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Physician Assistant in an Otolaryngology or related specialty, with at least 2 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role. Experience in an academic medical center is preferred.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. If you are passionate about what you could accomplish in this role, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staffing & Coverage: Assess staffing needs, develop positions, and ensure optimal coverage in the operating room (OR) and inpatient units to accommodate increasing physician and patient volume.
  • Clinical Management: Participate in the evaluation and clinical management of surgical patients, from initial consultation through to ongoing care. Collaborate closely with attending physicians to optimize patient outcomes pre- and post-operatively.
  • Collaboration & Leadership: Serve as a key liaison between midlevel providers, physicians, nursing staff, and other departments. Promote effective communication and coordination within the department and across teams.
  • Program Development & Expansion: Assist in the development of a program structure that aligns with departmental growth. Contribute to process improvements, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient workflows.
