The Logistics Specialist is responsible for efficiently managing inventory and ensuring accurate order fulfillment. This role involves interpreting customer orders, work orders, and shipping requests to assemble and organize products from stock.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review and interpret customer orders and work orders to assemble products for shipment.
  2. Organize and categorize materials on racks, shelves, or bins based on established criteria such as size, type, or product code.
  3. Maintain comprehensive documentation related to inventory, including shipping confirmations and purchase orders.
  4. Ensure the accuracy of inventory records and participate in regular inventory audits.
  5. Label all outgoing orders and back stock for clarity.
  6. Assist in loading and unloading customer vehicles, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
  7. Process incoming shipments promptly and efficiently.
  8. Utilize equipment such as forklifts for inventory movement, ensuring proper maintenance and inspection.
  9. Record quantities of products received and distributed accurately.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  11. Input inventory records into the computer system.
  12. Perform additional duties as assigned.


This position plays a crucial role in supporting the operational efficiency of The Tile Shop, ensuring that inventory management and order fulfillment processes run smoothly.
