Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and evaluate structures utilizing engineering calculations and software tools.
  • Prepare calculations and specifications for projects under the guidance of a licensed engineer.
  • Initiate CAD drawings or provide markup for drafters (AutoCAD & Revit).
  • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to address project design requirements.
  • Participate in site visits to evaluate existing structures and offer recommendations for repairs or enhancements.
  • Ensure adherence to building codes and regulations.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications for Success:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related discipline.
  • EIT status or plans to take the FE exam soon.
  • Proficient technical skills in preparing drawings and calculations in AutoCAD, with a focus on structural aspects.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
