Oral Surgery Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Oral Surgery Assistant to join our team at Christiana Center for Oral Surgery & Dental Implants. As a key member of our oral surgery team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our procedures and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Aid surgeons with precision during procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and meticulous documentation of patient care.
- Perform preoperative tasks, including obtaining vital radiographs and crafting detailed patient narratives.
- Engage in strategic discussions with surgeons, monitor patient status, and handle advanced equipment with finesse.
- Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.

- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- BLS Certification (or completed within 1 month of hire).
- Strong teamwork and independent work capabilities, demonstrating good judgment and critical thinking.

- Basic computer proficiency.
- Excellent manual dexterity and superior listening skills, especially in emergency scenarios.
- Previous oral surgery experience is beneficial.
- DAANCE certification is desirable.
- Licensed dental assistant status is preferred.
- Radiology certification is a plus.
