At USAA, we're committed to facilitating the financial security of our members. As a Mid-Level Retirement Income Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our members' financial well-being by assessing their current retirement income needs and providing expert advice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess member needs and provide personalized retirement income strategies
  • Develop and communicate effective retirement plans, including annuity sales and executive benefits
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve complex issues and provide exceptional customer service
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, tax law changes, and economic developments to inform retirement planning recommendations
  • Conduct outbound calls to follow up on products and services, and participate in outbound call campaigns
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma required
  • Life/Health license and FINRA Series 7, 66 (or 63 and 65) licenses required
  • 4 years of financial industry and/or sales experience
  • Experience delivering written and oral communication, processing and analyzing information, and resolving conflict
  • Ability to work in an operating systems environment, multitask, and participate in teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • US military experience or military spouse/domestic partner
  • 3+ years of direct Annuity Sales Experience
  • Experience working in an Inbound/Outbound Call Center
  • Retirement Income Certified Professional Designation (RICP)
