Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive primary and urgent care services to adult patients dealing with oncology and hematology conditions.
  • Conduct thorough initial and ongoing evaluations of patients' medical, physical, and emotional well-being.
  • Ensure precise and timely documentation of clinical observations, interventions, care plans, referrals, and follow-up actions.
  • Develop suitable differential diagnoses informed by patient history, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments.
  • Recognize the needs of patients and their families, crafting tailored care and educational plans.
  • Order and interpret necessary diagnostic examinations.
  • Facilitate appropriate referrals to other healthcare professionals and community resources.
  • Maintain adherence to productivity benchmarks set by the department.
  • Identify personal growth and development needs, proactively seeking opportunities for advancement.
  • Undertake additional related responsibilities following proper training.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Nursing or a Physician's Assistant qualification.
  • Advanced Oncology Certification or intent to obtain certification.
  • A minimum of 1 year in a Provider Role.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner in oncology.
  • A positive demeanor and a genuine passion for caring for oncology patients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Empathy towards patients' physical and emotional requirements.
