We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our General Surgery team at Yale New Haven Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the delivery of high-quality surgical services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and support to patients undergoing general surgery procedures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective care strategies
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a current RN license in the State of Connecticut
- Current BCLS certification or ability to obtain within one month of hire
- Experience in general surgery or a related field preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
