Travel Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Nurse Opportunity in New Haven, Connecticut

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit to join our team in New Haven, Connecticut.
About the Position
Fusion Medical Staffing is partnering with a reputable medical facility to find a qualified PICU RN to provide exceptional patient care for 13 weeks. As a PICU RN, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to critically ill children, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and making timely decisions to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities
Your duties as a PICU RN will include:
- Providing direct patient care, including administering medications, vital sign monitoring, and performing various assessments
- Collaborating with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Participating in multidisciplinary rounds and contributing to patient care discussions
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Responding to emergencies and Code Browns in a timely and effective manner
Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:
- One to three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
- A valid CT RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
