Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant

Athletico Physical Therapy is seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and service to individuals impaired by physical illness or injury.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide safe and effective therapy services to patients under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
  • Progress patient plans of care and communicate with supervising physical therapists regarding treatment plans and follow-up appointments.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with rehabilitation aides and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in community services, such as hosting health fairs and presenting in-services on orthopedic injuries and prevention.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state practicing.
  • Associates degree from an accredited PTA program.
  • Current CPR certification and AED training.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
