Job Summary

As a key member of the Great Bay Staffing Group team, the Sterile Processing Manager will be responsible for directing, planning, organizing, and evaluating staff and activities of Sterile Processing in compliance with Department of Health, TJC, OSHA, CDC, AAMI, and AORN Standards and facility goals and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the day-to-day operations regarding the reprocessing of surgical instruments and trays.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of staff and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of sterile processing experience.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of management experience required.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CSPT) certification required.
  • Vocational School Graduate.
