Position Overview

Contract to hire opportunity
Schedule: Part-time, 16-24 hours/week (operating hours detailed below)
*Closed on Sundays and most State/Federal holidays

  • Operating Hours:
    • Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM - 8:00 PM
    • Friday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
    • Saturday: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately prepare prescriptions in multi-dose packaging for clients.
  • Retrieve medications from stock, generate prescription labels, and affix them to containers.
  • Conduct register operations and maintain daily register tasks.
  • Complete necessary documentation for prescription fulfillment and enter customer and prescription details into the system.
  • Assist in keeping the pharmacy environment clean and organized.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must possess a Pharmacy Technician License and have at least 2 years of experience in a fast-paced pharmacy setting.
  • Minimum age of 18 years and a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
  • Customer service-focused with professional communication abilities.
  • Experience as a Pharmacy Technician: 2 years (Required).
  • Pharmacy Technician License (Required).
