About the Job

Azure Summit Technology is a growing small business with locations in Florida and Virginia, specializing in high-performance RF hardware, firmware, and software products. We are seeking a skilled Senior RF Electronics Design Engineer to join our team.

This position involves designing, developing, and testing complex PCBs and PCBAs, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions for our customers. The ideal candidate will have strong theoretical knowledge of RF/Microwave engineering, experience designing RF/Microwave circuits at the PCB level, and proficiency in precision RF measurements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Designing RF electronics portions of new PCB designs based on requirements, selecting major RF components and capturing them on block diagrams.
  • Performing electronics circuit card designs using electrical design and analysis tools, guiding PCB layout, and verifying final designs before release.
  • Working with PCB fab houses and assembly houses to manufacture bare PCBs and assemble PCBA.
  • Using analytical design experience with software and simulation tools such as Genesys, AWR Microwave Office, ADS, CST, Complex Excel Spreadsheets, and HFSS.
  • Experience with RF test equipment such as high-speed oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and vector network analyzers.
  • Designing power management circuitry to support RF and mixed-signal circuits with specific concern for low noise designs and proper thermal management.
Requirements
  • US citizenship due to contract requirement.
  • Ability and willingness to obtain a TOP SECRET security clearance.
  • 15 years of electronics design experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, mechanical engineering, or another relevant field.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is around $140,000 per year, depending on qualifications and location.
